SEMINAR PROGRAMME 2017 REGISTRATION

TITLE:
Where does audio stand within today’s corporate environment? AV Magazine Panel
DATE:
18 September 2017
TIME:
12:15 - 13:15
LOCATION:
Audio & AV Theatre

DESCRIPTION: Audio has often played second fiddle to the visual in the AV world, but this scenario is changing rapidly. Audinate’s Dante technology is widely supported by the pro AV industry and becomes important if users wish to maintain interoperability between differing manufacturers to transfer audio over an IP network. The benefits – from simplicity of installation to increased functionality and the control of other elements on the network – are significant, and the fact that Dante allows audio components tight integration within installed systems has not been missed.

Digital audio in conjunction with audio networking appears to be the growth area. Delivering multi-channels (often with video) is becoming more commonplace
Before, audiences were restricted to single screen environments with limited media content. Now multiple-screens open up this market to new players who are now transforming this industry with new, price competitive and innovative solutions.

Huddle rooms and collaboration spaces continue to grow. As the cost of technology has decreased more rooms are being equipped with audio equipment. With the shift to more open plan offices these spaces need to be carefully designed to ensure that the sound quality isn’t comprised.
