CADAC CDC Eight digital console launch

CADAC would like to invite you to the launch of the game changing CDC Eight digital sound touring console. Premiering CADAC’s all-new ‘high agility’ user interface – accessed via two 24 inch 16:10 high definition LCD touch screens, with a further centre located 6 inch LCD touch screen accessing the system control and automation – a proprietary DSP engine, eight 4th generation SHARCS, 128 to 256 input channels, 48 outputs and a classic CADAC sound signal path, the CDC Eight is the digital sound touring console only CADAC could design.
Lunchtime refreshments will accompany the launch presentation.

Appotronics introduce ApusTM the ultra high brightness illumination module
London, Plasa – September 11th, 2011 – Appotronics Corporation, a developer and manufacturer of high performance solid state light sources for professional lighting applications, today introduced the ApusTM; an ultra high brightness solid state illumination module for moving heads. The products come with emitting areas less than 2mm2 and have more than 6000lm output. They are engineering for the beam move lights with unprecedented brightness.
Dr. Yi Li, CEO, commented, “After spending four years in an intensive research and development mode, this is a significant milestone for Appotronics. Tait Technologies one-to-one press meetings

Tait Technologies opened its London office in May this year and will be sharing a stand with office neighbours Stageco at PLASA.
The company has worked on some of the largest concerts, tours and productions in the past year including Batman Live, Take That and U2.
Company representatives from the European Office (Frederic Opsomer and Fanny Verschraege) and UK office (Carol Scott) plus guests from Tait’s US office will be available across the four-day exhibition to discuss these projects, details of brand new contracts for 2012, and the future of the video convergence and special effects industry, at a series of one-to-one interviews.
