For the past 20 years, Joost van Eenbergen has been applying his brilliant technical mind to the challenges facing entertainment production professionals. His first invention was the FocusHand system for the remote control of lights while focusing.
Then, Joost came up with the ShowStore show recorder, the first unit to be record and playback DMX shows, in real-time.With the advent of Art-Net in 2000, Joost introduced ELC’s first dmXLAN Ethernet system, along with the software to programme it.
Perhaps Joost’s greatest success was to produce the revolutionary Green-GO comms system. This year, Joost’s latest innovation, the dmXLAN nodeGBx 8 will be launched at the PLASA Show, and promises to bring new efficiencies, and new flexibility, to entertainment Ethernet systems.
