Classic Gear Live: Preserving Entertainment Technology
There are many collections of performance equipment in private and public hands. However, saving and showing the gear to interested people can be challenging, especially as records are not always complete, and there are fewer people around who actively worked on the kit when it was new.
This session brings together three active organisations explaining their own approach to staying interesting and relevant, often in the face of adversity.
Who is this session for?
The session will appeal to technical staff interested in older equipment that they, or their predecessors, may have used in the past (and sometimes still use).
This seminar is free to attend with a show entry badge. Seminars operate on a walk-in basis, so be sure to arrive in good time as seats are first-come-first-served.
