Getting Started With Sig-Net - Getting To Grips With The Next Generation Of Lighting Control Protocols
'Getting started with Sig-Net’ aims to provide a practical overview of this new lighting control protocol, introduced to address the requirements of the upcoming European legislation, the Cyber Security Resilience act (or CRA for short).
This session is intended to give a brief overview of how Sig-Net works in practice, how devices are ‘onboarded’ and a basic lighting control solution is put together.
We start by briefly recapping DMX control, what sACN and Art-Net are, what their purpose is, how they compare and how Sig-Net compares.
We then move forward in time and look at how systems will work with Sig-Net, rather than Art-Net or sACN and what the implications are when designing or deploying networked lighting controls.
Who is this session for?
This seminar is free to attend with a show entry badge. Seminars operate on a walk-in basis, so be sure to arrive in good time as seats are first-come-first-served.
