Introducing PLASA TEPEC - Recognising Electrical Competencies In The Event And Entertainment Industry
Over the last 18 months PLASA has been supporting industry stakeholders with the development of a competency Certification for professionals working with temporary electrical power systems in the Events and Entertainment industry.
Following on from the success of the highly respected NRC, PLASA will be launching the Temporary Event Power Electrician Certification - TEPEC Spring 2027.
Covering live events, theatre, film & TV production, broadcast and streaming, the Temporary Event Power Electrician Certification (TEPEC) is aimed at giving structure to an area of industry that has not previously had any specific formal recognition of competencies to agreed industry standards.
This session will provide an update on the Pilot program, along with give attendees an overview of the Certification levels, update on timescales, process and validity within our industry.
