This session introduces Get It In Writing, a free Terms & Conditions template built by Bectu's Live Events Network specifically for all freelance crew, technicians and event workers, and shows you how to actually use it.
This session will talk through what to put in your terms, how to get them agreed so they hold up, and where they're strong.
Crucially, there will be some honesty about where they can trip you up: what you can actually do when a client pays late or cancels, whose terms win when a client hands you their own contract, and what your statutory rights do (and don't) cover.
