A new era for Olympia: elevating the PLASA Show visitor experience

PLASA Show returns to Olympia, London this September at an exciting moment in the venue’s 140-year history.
As part of Olympia’s £1.3bn redevelopment, the iconic London landmark is being transformed into a major new destination for events, entertainment, hospitality and culture. For PLASA Show visitors, this means an even richer experience before, during and after their time at the show.
From June 2026, Olympia is set to welcome a new wave of openings, including a curated mix of bars and restaurants under its new rooftop Canopy, the 3,800-capacity British Airways ARC live music and entertainment venue, and new public spaces designed to bring fresh energy to the wider site. Two new onsite hotels, Hyatt Regency London Olympia and citizenM London Olympia, are also due to open in summer 2026, creating more convenient options for visitors travelling from across the UK and overseas.
The redevelopment also includes 2.5 acres of public space, including the newly pedestrianised Olympia Way, which will create a more welcoming arrival route from Kensington (Olympia) station. Olympia has also highlighted the venue’s strong transport links, with Kensington (Olympia) station next to the venue and several Underground, bus and road connections nearby.
For attendees, exhibitors and partners, these changes will help turn a visit to PLASA Show into more than a day on the show floor. Whether you are meeting clients over dinner, staying close to the venue, exploring new places to eat and drink, or making the most of Olympia’s improved public spaces, the surrounding experience is set to feel more connected, convenient and vibrant.
