A Sparkies' Special! Electrical Updates-A-Plenty…..
James Eade is joined in this seminar and discussion panel by Mark Coles, Head of Technical Regulations for the IET, and Gary Gundry, consultant and associate editor of ‘The Wiring Regs’, BS 7671.
The next amendment of the BS 7671 is now out for public comment and will be during the show, so come and find out what proposed changes will affect us, including power over ethernet, wiring in escape routes, energy efficiency and more. Find out how to comment on the changes yourself and also what really happens to all the comments received.
Also we’ll touch on the work underway at an international level on the requirements for exhibitions, shows, stands and fairgrounds as well as generators as this will be adopted in the UK. In other news, the IET will soon be publishing a revision to the IET Temporary Power Guidebook and James will give an overview of what’s new in his forthcoming edition.
Finally the three will host an open session to discuss any electrical woes or queries from ‘PAT testing’ to installation maintenance or BS 7909 compliance. It’s an ideal opportunity to get definitive answers from the team on anything electrical!
Who is the seminar for?
All who work with, specify or use power distribution systems.
