Dave started his career in the early 80’s initially working for a small AV business in Covent Garden before moving on to Link Electronics in 1983 who were then the sole UK operators of the highly Specialised Eidophor and GE video projection systems.  After 2 years working on numerous corporate, TV and entertainment events an opportunity arose to team up with industry entreprenear Richard Murray and his newly formed Avesco group. Dave founded Screenco in 1985 and was part of the team founding Creative Technology (CT) for the same group 1 year later.  From those, relatively humble beginnings the global business that is Creative Technology today evolved. 

Screenco and CT together pioneered the evolution of large screen displays and all things video in the live event world, initially as separate businesses under the same ownership.   In the early 2000s as LED technology replaced CRT and LCD the businesses were merged with Dave leading the European and Middle East business and partner Graham Andrews moving to lead the US development of CT.  Whilst Dave is recently retired, CT is a key part of the NEP group and one of the world’s largest providers event staging technology with around 1,500 staff across 32 global offices.
