David graduated from the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama with an HND in technical theatre. His lighting design work spans the West End, Broadway, Off-West End, regional and touring productions, as well as international projects in opera and ballet. 

He currently serves as the Professional Members’ Representative for the Association of Lighting & Production Design.
