A music and entertainment industry journalist for the past 50 years, Jerry devoted 2024 to researching the historic Heritage Pathways technology series for L&Si. Prior to that Jerry co-founded the seminal disco/DJ trade journal, Disco International and later LIVE!—the first journal dedicated to the concert touring community. During this time, he witnessed the various evolutionary stages of club and concert lighting at close quarters.

Before that, he was a staff writer on Melody Maker and later Sounds — touring with, and interviewing artists ranging from Bruce Springsteen to Elton John — followed by a brief flirtation in the record industry, as A&R manager at Charisma. Since leaving mainstream journalism for the darker-than-dark side of PR he has yet to witness an eclipse.
