Jim has over 40 years experience in international live touring, studio and broadcast mixing.

His CV includes: Engineer Refugee recording studio Reading 1985-1990; his first international tour was Chapterhouse in 1990; he has toured with Radiohead from 1992 - to the present; Arcade Fire from 2010 – to the present; Mumford & Sons 2023-25; Florence & The Machine 2015; Peter Gabriel 2003-04; Nine Inch Nails 2005-06; Crowded House 2008; Duran Duran 2009; Biffy Clyro with some FOH and live sound consultancy 2013; Freya Ridings 2018.

Some of Jim’s other clients include Art of Noise, Turin Brakes, Doves, Auteurs, Black Box Recorder, Sufjan Stevens, The Wedding Present, Jocasta, Kings of Convenience.

Jim won the TEC Award for ‘Live Sound Production’ in 2003 with Peter Gabriel and in 2004 with Radiohead. He was also nominated for a TEC award for ‘Tour / Event Sound Production’ for Radiohead in 2016.

Alongside all this, Jim offers audio consultancy work for product development with L’Acoustics, Soundcraft and Avid.
