John (JP) Partridge
‘JP’ leads the creative, technical and operational delivery of Celestial's drone shows in the UK and internationally.
Since joining Celestial at its inception, JP has been responsible for bringing some of the company’s most ambitious projects to life, overseeing productions for major global artists, brands, broadcasters and live events. His work has included the OASIS Live ’25 campaign, Glastonbury Festival’s first drone show, London’s New Year’s Eve celebrations, a life-size recreation of Titanic above Belfast Harbour, and Celestial’s runner-up appearance on Britain’s Got Talent.
With a background spanning lighting design, concert touring and large-scale live production, JP approaches drone shows as live entertainment rather than simply technology, combining creative direction with the technical and operational planning required to deliver complex performances in challenging environments.
JP began his career at a young age with the National Youth Theatre, before moving into professional live production with Production Resource Group (PRG), one of the world’s leading entertainment technology and production companies. His time at PRG became a formative part of his career, developing his experience across major live productions before moving into international concert touring. That background in theatre, technology and large-scale live entertainment continues to shape the production-led approach he brings to Celestial today.
