Mark, in his role as TAIT UK Principal, works globally out of TAIT’s Kings Cross office in London. 

Building on over 45 years of professional theatre experience, working as a Technical Director, Production Director and Project Manager for some of the UK’s most prolific, producing, performing arts organisations including The Royal Opera House – Covent Garden, The National Theatre - London, English National Opera, Theatre Royal – Stratford East, The Young Vic, Cameron Macintosh Ltd and Really Useful Group, his TAIT role works to maintain existing and build new partnerships with Artists, Architects, Designers, Producers and Organisations, to create culture defining experiences, in the Performing Arts Sector and wider Live Experience Economy.

As a Technical Director, Mark led the National Theatre technical dept’ through the £80m NT Future capital refurbishment in 2015 and led the Royal Opera House technical dept’ through the £50m Open Up capital refurbishment in 2018. He worked as a Trustee and Board member on the Capital Projects for Bristol Old Vic in 2012 and 2017, The Bush Theatre in 2017 and the planning stages until 2022 of building the recently opened Yard Theatre. He is currently a member of the Capital Project Board for The Albany Theatre in Deptford.

Mark is a Fellow and Trustee of the ABTT (Association of British Theatre Technicians), an Honorary Fellow of RCSSD (Royal Central School of Speech & Drama), a Co-Director of Stage Sight, an Associate at Tangle, a member of the Theatre Artists Fund Advisory Committee, the Industry Ambassador for the MPAA (Mulberry Production Art Academy) and is also a Trustee of The Genisis Theatre Design Program.
