Sergiy is a live sound engineer and system designer based in London. He is the founder and technical director of Red Flame Creations, a company providing creative services for the event industry, including sound system design, engineering and calibration, CAD services, photography, and consultancy.

Music has been his passion since childhood, alongside a love for building his own electroacoustic equipment, such as amplifiers and speakers. Combining his experience as a musician with a background in electrical engineering made becoming a sound engineer a natural choice.

Sergiy joined his first professional sound company in 1999, shortly after earning his electrical engineering degree. Over the years, moving from mixing monitors and FOH, he shifted his focus toward system engineering and design—a specialisation that gives him greater flexibility to express his creativity.

Every stage of system implementation—from venue CAD drawings and acoustic simulations to physical setup and final tuning—is exciting for Sergiy. "Tuning a system to me is like playing an instrument," he says. "As a result, all the notes must sound clear."

Sergiy is a V-DOSC (2006) and K1 (2013) certified engineer, as well as an Application Consultant (2025) for L-Acoustics, one of the world's leading sound system manufacturers. He handles system design, implementation, and optimisation for a wide range of events, from concerts and festivals to award shows and tours, with a particular focus on immersive sound technologies.
