Steve began his career aiming to become a professional drummer but ultimately found his path in live sound reinforcement.

After studying on the inaugural Live Performance Technology degree at Derby University, he moved from installation work into managing the hire department at TMC in Bradford.

Following a period in rapid prototyping, Steve returned to audio in 2007, joining d&b audiotechnik as the UK’s technical support contact. Eight years on, he now leads the department responsible for system design, commissioning and training across EMEA.

Steve remains known for his expertise and experience across many iconic installations and touring support work which inform his practical approach to Sound System deployment - and his ongoing claim that he’s “still just a failed drummer.”
