Toby is the Director of Sustainability and Risk Management for The MBS Group. Having started as a warehouse operative for a lighting rental company in the late 80’s his career has taken him across the world working on music touring, corporate production, event OB’s and TV studio management.

He is currently supporting film and high-end TV clients as part of the leadership team at MBS production services. His current role combines his passion for safe, fair and inclusive work practices. While at MBS he has developed numerous training programmes, as well as social outreach initiatives.

He has co-chaired an apprentice trailblazers’ group to provide a new pathway for apprentice Screen Lighting Technician, having mentored many new entrants into the industry.
