Tom took over as managing director of the ‘family firm’, Unusual Rigging, in 2020 following the passing of Alan Jacobi, having worked for the company since 2013 alongside a parallel career as an actor in television shows such as Foyle’s War and Silent Witness. Through his passion for the circular economy – a subject in which he holds an MBA - Tom has led Unusual – and through it, the industry – in working to embrace this approach, the power of it clearly demonstrated by Unusual’s new headquarters building which opened last year.
